Former finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has passed
away. He was 88. He died at 12:56 am today (April 30, 2022) at United
Hospital in Dhaka.
His first janaza will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque in
Dhaka at 10:00 am today. The second Janazah will be held at the Parliament
premises at around 11:30 am.
Afterward, his body will be taken to Shaheed Minar at around
1:00 pm for the public to pay their last respect. Muhith will be buried in Sylhet. Immediately after his death, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa
